CROSINPH Partially Hydrogenated Rosin is a light colored,
thermoplastic, acidic resin made by partially hydrogenating rosin.
Because of this treatment, CROSINPH
is highly resistant to oxidation and discoloration, and to changes in
solubility characteristics when it is exposed to air and sunlight.
Thermoplastic properties of CROSINPH make it particularly
valuable as a plasticizer, tackifier or processing aid for reclaimed,
natural and synthetic rubbers. CROSINPH is also suggested for
the preparation of synthetic resins, pigment coatings, soldering fluxes
and caulking compounds. Partially hydrogenated rosin is also known as
Foralyn E.
Foralyn E is a trademark of Eastman for partially hydrogenated
rosin. |
